Supervisor David Couch self-quarantining, says he was exposed to COVID-19

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — As the Kern County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday morning to discuss this week's agenda, Supervisor David Couch was not in attendance. Instead, he was in quarantine, after he said he was exposed to COVID-19.

District 4 Supervisor David Couch informed the board he had been exposed to COVID-19 and was self-quarantining at home after being exposed on Friday. He said he will be getting tested for COVID-19 this week.

Couch was still in attendance for the Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday via Zoom.
