BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The famous Basque restaurant Wool Growers is temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The restaurant said that the entire staff will now be tested as a precaution. Once they receive results they will reopen.

Please be assured we practiced proper safety guidelines while this employee was at work. We know this is inconvenient for those who have made reservations, but we feel its important to insure that we are taking proper precautions for everyone's safety.
