Bakersfield Fire looking for suspect wanted for setting fire to local business in Central Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Fire Department is asking the community for help identifying a suspect wanted for the arson of a store in Central Bakersfield.

The suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing denim jeans, short sleeve black shirt with red and white writing, a black hat with a red bill, black mask and white shoes.

According to Bakersfield Fire Investigators, the suspect was walking in the area of the Garces Circle on Saturday when he set fire to cardboard up against the Home Furniture Design store located at 3029 Chester Ave, causing major fire damage to the business.
