The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run incident.
According to the BPD, the collision occurred on Friday, January 31, 2020, at approximately 7:04 PM, in the area of Mohawk Street and Latina Drive. The vehicle collided with a motorcycle, which resulted in significant injuries to the motorcyclist.
The vehicle is described as a newer model, possibly a Lexus, 4-door with damage to the rear driver’s side quarter panel. The driver was described as an adult male, possibly Hispanic in his late 30s to early 40s. He was heavy set with short, with possibly shaved hair.
The suspect is believed to reside in the area of Mohawk Street and Latina Drive.
