BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man in the hospital recovering from injuries.
On Thursday around 4:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of East California Avenue. When they arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in an abandoned building. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
