BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two teens are recovering from non-life threatening injuries after a shooting police say took place during an apparent car burglary.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a call came in around 8 p.m. for reports of a victim of a shooting.
Once BPD was on scene, two shooting victims were discovered; one at Hahn and Estero Streets and the other in 4400 block of Foxborough.
Police said the victims were ages 16 and 18 years old.
One had minor injuries and the other had moderate injuries, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
