LAMONT, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner identified a man found shot in his vehicle as David Gonzalez-Olmos, 54, of Lamont.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, around 10:16 p.m. on April 11, Olmos was found shot dead in a vehicle at the corner of South Comanche Drive and South of East Panama Road in Lamont.
A postmortem examination was conducted and the cause of death was gunshot wound of back and the manner was homicide.
