An inmate who escaped while in the custody of the Kern County Sheriff's Office was located in Missouri and is awaiting extradition.

KCSO said Jason Ralls, escaped from custody while being transported to a local hospital on June 7. A search of the area was completed, but Ralls was not located.

On June 23, Ralls was located in Webster County, Missouri.

Ralls is currently pending an extradition hearing to have him extradited back to Kern County.
