BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is calling on the community for help investigating a deadly shooting in East Bakersfield Tuesday afternoon.
KCSO said around 3:24 p.m. Tuesday, deputies found 44-year-old Andrew Anaya shot multiple times inside a home in the 700 block of Bernard Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives at the scene learned numerous eyewitnesses did not wait for law enforcement to arrive. Detectives would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
