BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in East Bakersfield after a man was found shot inside a vehicle that crashed into a home.
According to KCSO, around noon deputies responded to a home in the area of Oswell Street for reports of shots fired. When they arrived they found the vehicle inside a home and the driver with gunshot wounds.
KCSO said the driver died at the scene.
The home caught fire after the crash but was quickly put out by firefighters. No other injuries were reported.
