BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that took place Thursday night in the 1000 block of Lincoln St.
The Bakersfield Police Department alerted KCSO of a possible shooting at around 7 p.m. When deputies arrived they located evidence of a shooting, but could not locate a victim.
A short time later a man suffering from a single gunshot arrived at a local hospital. His wound is not considered life-threatening.
