WASCO, Calif. — A 27-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the leg Friday evening in Wasco, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff deputies were called out around 5 p.m. to reports of a shooting on 12th Street and Broadway Street in Wasco. According to KCSO, when they arrived they found the man with a gunshot would to the leg and "additional trauma to his body."

KCSO said the victim was taken by hospital to Kern Medical where he is currently in critical condition.
There is no suspect information at this time.
