RIDGECREST, Calif. — In an effort to reduce crime in the Indian Wells Valley, the Ridgecrest Police Department arrested 21 people during parole/probation compliance checks over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Ridgecrest Police Department conducted compliance checks on subjects who are on either Active Parole, Probation or Post Release Community Supervision living within the City of Ridgecrest and surrounding areas.
The operation was comprised of around 45 officers from multiple agencies including the Kern County Probation Department, Delano Police Department, Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff’s Department.
38 searches were conducted with around 104 targets.
