Suspects wanted for vandalism during downtown protests Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the community's help identifying suspects wanted for vandalism during the downtown protests Saturday.

According to BPD, on Saturday the suspects spray-painted multiple traffic barriers, intended for safety, during the ongoing protests on Truxtun Avenue.

Both suspects were males of an unknown race.

The first suspect is described as wearing a long sleeve gray shirt, long dark pants, black head wrap and wearing a black backpack with a white, square patch attached.

The second suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark shorts, long white socks, black facemask, and wearing a black backpack with a white square patch attached.
