BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision Wednesday evening that resulted in moderate injuries.

According to BPD, the call came out just before 10:30 p.m. in the area of 34th and Panama streets. When officers arrived they found a woman suffering moderate injuries.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated, according to BPD.

BPD is still investigating. They ask drivers avoid the area.
