TAFT, Calif. — "I think its just a stable environment and its also an institution that is really focused on excellence," said Alex Haver of Taft college human resources.
At Taft College, excellence in education is at the forefront of their values, and the administration is currently looking to add to their team.
"Were hiring a wide range right now were looking at technician roles in library and office and director and administration and admission roles and education," said Haver.
These positions are currently available for application on the Taft College website.
"We look for candidates that are not only good candidates but that can grow with the college as well," said Haver.
Each job listing on the site describes the responsibilities, duties and qualifications needed for that position.
"Pay attention to our job announcements, they are detailed in what we are looking for and we keep the candidate knowing what they will be doing in those jobs and just come prepared in the interview process," said Haver.
But being detail oriented could be the deciding factor for many candidates.
"One of the biggest problems we have is that we need a resume, cover letter, and transcripts. We have to have all that and we can't move forward even if they're the best candidate," Haver said.
According to the website, all the listed positions start in January.
