A 4.8-magnitude earthquake has hit 60 miles north of Ridgecrest, near Darwin, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor had a depth of 1.4 kilometers.
The USGS originally reported the quake was a 4.4M quake but upgraded it to a 4.8M minutes later.
