BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — COVID-19 has left many people unable to leave home, and one local organization hopes to spread joy by offering horse visits.

All Seated in a Barn, a local nonprofit, kicked off their 'Pay it Forward' initiative in hopes of spreading kindness in their community.

Tahlia Fischer, director and founder of All Seated in a Barn, said during times of uncertainty they hope to bring some happiness to residents for any special reason or occasion.

They've also taken to Instagram, calling on locals to do the same by posting:

"Buy the persons coffee behind you, leave a bag of toilet paper on someone's doorstep or a gift card to the grocery store.. just ACT, just BE KIND. Let's all do our part and start paying it forward! Let's make this a month of new beginnings, strength and coming together as a community to support one another!"

Fischer said her organization wants to focus on bringing the community together during these trying times and bring some joy to those staying home.

If you would like to schedule a visit contact their organization, and tell them why you would like a special visit from their horses.

Horse visits are free but donations are accepted. For more information head to their website, or Instagram.
