Coroner identifies 36-year-old man in fatal stabbing, suspect arrested

The Kern County Coroner has identified 36-year-old Abrahim Mohamed Rajeh as the victim of the fatal stabbing.

The coroner said the postmortem examination will be performed to determine cause and manner of Rajeh's death.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The Kern County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in the fatal stabbing that happened on Monday on Lomita Drive.

Deputies said they identified 26-year-old David Valles as the suspect through their investigation. Valles was found in the area 900 South Union Avenue before he was booked into the Central Receiving Facility and charged with murder. Officials confirmed with 23ABC that Valles is homeless.

The Kern County Coroner has not released the identity of the victim.
