BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Juana Romero, owner of Jessica’s Hair and Nails, is asking for the public's help identifying the suspects who broke into her business in central Bakersfield Wednesday night.
Recently she took to Facebook and posted the videos of the break-in.
In the surveillance video the two men parked their car by the front door and immediately began stealing supplies and merchandise. Romero says the suspects stole more than three thousand dollars worth of items.
23ABC confirmed with Bakersfield Police Department that her business has been broken into seven times since 2015.
Romero says this has been an ongoing issue and that she has been sleeping in her shop to protect it. Now, she’s considering taking her business to another town and questions if owning a business in Bakersfield is worth the sacrifice of her health and safety.
Romero says they have not caught the suspects from Wednesday and that if you recognize any of the suspects in the video to contact BPD at 661-327-7111.
