The Bakersfield Police Department said it received a report for a missing woman, but so far detectives have been unable to confirm her identity.

The woman is described as a Hispanic woman possibly 19 years old, standing 5-foot-4 and weighing 105 pounds. She has brown hair and blue/grey eyes.

According to Bakersfield Police Seargent Robert Pair, the woman was reported missing under the name "Emily Alejandra Fernandez." Sgt. Pair said the person who reported her missing claimed to be "romantically involved" with her.

In the report, the person claimed Fernandez had traveled to Guadalajara, Jalisco State, Mexico in February to visit family. The report said she was last heard from in May.

The report claimed Fernandez graduated in 2019 from Ridgeview High School, however, BPD has been unable to find records confirming this.

Sgt. Pair said BPD has exhausted all its efforts to confirm this woman's identity, including searching social media and Google images to find her. So far they have come up empty-handed and are now reaching out to the community to find someone who may know her.

BPD is asking if you are family or you recognize the woman in these photos, please call them at (661) 327-7111 or call Detective Dunn at (661) 326-3876.
