BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is accepting applications for a Police Trainee.

This position is an entry level, non-sworn position in the Police Department. Applicants must be 20 years and 6 months of age at time of written exam and have at least a high school diploma. Applicants also should have a valid Class "C" California driver's license.
