The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened this morning, just before 2:00 a.m. in southwest Bakersfield. 

Police say the shooting happened in the parking lot of Martini's on 820 Real Rd. 

The shooting victim was transported to Mercy Hospital with minor to moderate injuries. 

BPD says the suspect is still on the loose.
