(UPDATE 11:12 A.M.) The big rig that caught fire on the southbound offramp of Highway 99 at Lerdo Highway is being cleared, according to CHP.
The offramp is back open and traffic will begin to resume shortly.

CHP reported the fire started 9:43 a.m. Shafter Police are responding to the scene.
