BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bike Bakersfield is reopening with new hours and limited services starting Tuesday.

New hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for Wednesdays to deep clean.

To limit large groups forming, the Volunteer Earn-A-Bike program will be on hold until further notice. Bike Bakersfield will be able to perform minor, “on-the-spot” repairs, however for repairs needing new parts or overhauls they ask that you take your equipment to any one of the retail bike shops in town.

Staff is requiring that all customers wear some type of face covering. They will have a limited amount of masks and gloves available to customers who do enter the shop with some sort of face covering.

If you are looking for a particular component for your ride, contact Bike Bakersfield through social media, or email them at and if we have it, we will contact you to schedule a time during shop hours for curbside pickup.
