On Wednesday, officers from the Bakersfield Police Department as well as Parole Agents from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Parole Apprehension Team conducted a search on Knotts Drive in Bakersfield.
Officers said they found a stolen .357 caliber firearm and Wendell Allen of Bakersfield was present at the location.
Allen was subsequently arrested on various weapons related charges and a bail enhancement was completed as Allen is a documented country boy crip gang member.
