BPD releases new details in South Bakersfield homicide investigation

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — BPD has released new information on possible suspects and vehicle linked to a deadly shooting in South Bakersfield.

On April 13 around 11:11 p.m. officers were dispatched to a shopping center in the 1600 block of Panama Lane regarding a victim of a shooting.

When they arrived they found a man sitting in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspects are described as an 18-year-old Hispanic man, thin build who was wearing dark clothing and an 18-year-old Hispanic woman, thin build who has dyed red hair and a red and orange striped shirt.

BPD says the truck involved in the homicide is possibly a green and silver 2012 Model Dodge Ram Laramie Extended Cab Truck.
