Bakersfield Police Officials said an adult male died Sunday night at a local area hospital.

On Saturday, March 26, 2016 at around 11:41 am, Bakersfield officers responded to an collision involving two vehicles in the intersection of Beale Avenue and Niles Street.
An adult female was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries and an adult male of the same vehicle was transported to a local area hospital with major injuries. An adult female from the other involved vehicle was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in this collision.
The victim’s name will be released at a later time by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
