Due to anticipated record high temperatures, AEG unfortunately must cancel the Brit Floyd performance scheduled for Spectrum Amphitheatre on June 22nd. Ticket purchasers may receive a refund at the point-of-purchase.
“Our first priority is the health and safety of our guests, staff, and performers. Due to predicted unhealthy temperatures, we are unfortunately forced to cancel our show on June 22nd,” said AEG Bakersfield General Manager Steve Eckerson. “We hope to reschedule Brit Floyd for a future date and apologize to all ticket holders.”
The National Weather Service currently predicts a high temperature of 111° degrees on the 22nd. The record for Bakersfield on that date is 109° degrees. Both the CDC and OSHA recommend limiting outdoor activity when temperatures rise above 100° degrees.
