Anyone looking to get an early start on their Independence Day celebrations can head to Buttonwillow tonight to check out some fireworks.

The community will hold its annual fireworks show tonight at the Buttonwillow Recreation and Park District. 

Gates open at 6:30 with food booths and entertainment on hand.

There will be a fireworks show starting at 9:15 p.m.
