(UPDATE 3 PM): Three people, including two teens, were taken into custody after a police chase that ended in a crash on Highway 99, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
BPD said around 2 p.m., officers tried to stop a vehicle for a code violation in the area of Potomac Avenue and S. King Street. The vehicle fled and a chase ensued.
The chase moved to Northbound Hwy. 99 where it ended in a non-injury crash.
BPD said one adult and two teens were taken into custody.
Three loaded firearms were also recovered.
This investigation is ongoing.
