BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The California Living Museum has released guidelines for its reopening, scheduled to happen on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

The zoo said it will be back Wednesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. under the state guidelines for reopening.

Consistent with local regulations, staff will be wearing facial coverings when 6-foot distancing is not possible. Guests two years and over will be asked to bring a facial covering for when social distancing is not possible during any part of their visit. Masks are required when directed by staff or signs.

The zoo is also minimizing touchpoints and installed hand sanitizing stations throughout the zoo.

"Since our reopening announcement, we've had many inquiries about how CALM can be further helped," the zoo posted on social media. "We are re-posting the Wish List. You may most certainly bring the items out to us on your next visit! Thank you for your generosity--it is most appreciated!"
