BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Community Action Partnership of Kern is asking the community to help them serve our homeless population as temperatures begin to drop. You can help by donating to the Warm for the Winter coat and warm clothing drive.

Donations of brand-new coats, hats, and gloves can help homeless individuals brave the cold as they work toward a home of their own and a stable, independent life.

M Street would like your help gathering a variety of winter clothing, particularly coats in sizes Medium, Large, XX-Large, and XXX-Large for both men and women. This drive is running from Nov. 1 through Jan 2021. Monetary donations are also appreciated.

Donations may be dropped off at the navigation center at 2900 M Street in Bakersfield.

Masks must be worn and social distancing is practiced at the facility.
