CASA of Kern County holding virtual Spooktacular Superhero Run event

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — CASA of Kern County will hold a virtual run "Spooktacular" throughout the month of October in support of abused and neglected children.

CASA is a local non-profit organization that provides a voice to children in foster care.

Organizers are offering both a "Run Anywhere" Virtual run, or you can run the "Solo Run" which is a guided course at the Park at Riverwalk with themed music and directions played from your iPhone or Android device.

You can sign up for the virtual 2k, 5k, or 10k online, registration is $30 by September 30 and $35 throughout the month of October.

Every runner receives a one-of-a-kind CASA Superhero Medal, t-shirt or cape and swag bag. The Virtual Mascot Dance-Off will be in full effect and be sure to enter in our photo contest for your chance to win super swag giveaway prizes.
