China Peak Mountain Resort to open this week after several inches of snowfall overnight

LAKESHORE, Calif. (KERO) — China Peak Mountain Resort will be open this week after the area got almost a foot of snow overnight.

According to the resort's general manager Tim Cohee, the area was hit with between 8 and 10 inches of snow. He said they expect a few more inches to come down before the end of the morning.

Cohee said the ski resort will be opening more lifts and runs Tuesday. The resort will be open daily during this holiday week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
