The California Highway Patrol is investigating an accident off Lerdo Highway that left at least one person with major injuries, according to CHP.
The CHP incident page reported a vehicle went off the roadway along Lerdo Hwy north of Bakersfield just before 9 p.m. The traffic incident page reported at least one person suffered major injuries.
The person was taken by ambulance to Kern Medical, according to the CHP page.
It is unknown at this time what caused the crash.
