BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol will once again be out in full force to make sure everyone stays safe over New Year's Eve.
As the holiday approaches, CHP will begin another maximum enforcement period, starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 and lasting until 11:59 p.m. on New Year's Day.
