BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — A nighttime closure has been scheduled for the southbound Highway 99 from 9 p.m. Tuesday until Wednesday at 5 a.m. During this time the westbound Highway 58 connector to southbound Hwy. 99 will also be closed.

The closure is for placing steel reinforcement of column on Hwy. 99 median.

During these closures, westbound-to-southbound motorists will be detoured to northbound Hwy. 99 connector to exit at California and then enter on the southbound Hwy. 99 on-ramp
