Bakersfield Congressman David Valadao visited Bakersfield Tuesday for a campaign event. Valadao said he is still working to make sure the federal government helps with the state’s drought issue.
Valadao met with the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, Fresno Chamber, and U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Valadao also discussed the importance of business and what the government can do to improve in the areas of taxes and other regulations.
He addressed recent attack ads, implying he supports presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The incumbent Republican is being challenged by Democrat Emilio Huerta.
