BAKERSFIELD. CALIF. — 23ABC sat down with Democratic Congressman TJ Cox on Friday to talk oil, President Trump's impeachment, homelessness, abortion rights, and unemployment rates, among other things.

Cox was the Democratic challenger in the 21st Congressional District race in 2018, beating out Incumbent Republican David Valadao. Cox is the first Democrat to hold the seat in nearly four decades. Valadao has since announced he'd run for the seat again in 2020.
