DELANO, Calif. — The Kern county coroner has identified a 47-year-old man who was shot to death in Delano.
According to officials, on Monday around 10:30 p.m., Marco Antonio Zubiate was shot in the area of 900 Kensington Street in Delano.
He was reportedly taken from the scene to Delano Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
The coroner confirmed that a postmortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause and manner of death.
Delano Police reported another deadly shooting that happened less than 24 hours on Casey Avenue in Delano.
