ARVIN, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the man who was shot and killed in Arvin Tuesday night.

According to the coroner, 26-year-old Roland Van Johnson was shot in the 200 block of Meyer Street in Arvin around 10:52 Tuesday night. Van Johnson died at the scene.

The coroner says a postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of Van Johnson's death.
