BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim struck by a vehicle in Northwest Bakersfield on Tuesday, February 5.

According to officials, 57-year-old Steven Madden was struck by a vehicle at Rosedale Highway and Calloway Drive. He was transported to Kern Medical where he later died from his injuries.

A postmortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
