LAMONT, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a homicide in Lamont on New Years Day.
According to deputies, 38-year-old Luciano Jose Ramos was assaulted by another person near 8900 Hall Road in Lamont. Ramos later died at Kern Medical ICU on Tuesday, January 8 at approximately 4:12 a.m.
A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of his death.
