BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a shooting in Southwest Bakersfield, early Friday.

According to officials, 37-year-old Robert Raymond Dominguez Jr. was shot in the area of 4100 Parker Avenue. He was pronounced dead just after 2:30 a.m. at the scene.

A postmortem examination will be performed to determine the cause and manner of his death.
