A crash on northbound Highway 99 has stopped traffic near Highway 65 in North Bakersfield.
The collision occurred just before 12:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the Highway 65 offramp, CHP dispatchers reported.
As a result, northbound traffic is backed up on Highway 99 south to Buck Owens Blvd., and Golden State Avenue (Hwy 204) is also backed up near the Golden State Highway.
It's unclear what caused the crash or when the scene is expected to be cleared.
