BEAR VALLEY SPRINGS, Calif. — The Kern County District Attorney’s office has filed embezzlement charges against the former Bear Valley Community Services District General Manager David Edmonds.

According to the Bear Valley Community Services District, the charges allege that Edmonds embezzled around $5,000 by returning office supplies and equipment purchased on a District credit card in exchange for personal gift cards.

The District provided all investigative materials to the Kern County District Attorney’s office.

The Bear Valley Community Services District fully supports the actions of the Kern County District Attorney’s office in the filing of these charges.

Edmonds served as the District’s General Manager from July 2014 to June 2018.
