DELANO, Calif. — Following a spate of high profile incidents, including the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old and an officer-involved shooting, the Delano Police Department is holding a public safety meeting tonight.
The meeting will take place at the Jefferson Center at 436 Jefferson St. from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
In a tweet, the Delano Police Department says the meeting is an opportunity for the community to "voice their concerns, questions, or comments about crimes, public safety, or police operations."
