ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif. — It was first announced in October 2018 that Edwards Air Force Base would be bringing air shows back to Kern County in 2020. Since that announcement, there has been an update to the original schedule.

The previously announced LACAS event was scheduled to take place this past October, but will now take place on March 21 and 22 at William J. Fox Airfield, Lancaster. The change was made to accommodate the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration team.

The second show date has also moved from Oct. 16-18, 2020 to Oct. 10-11, 2020. This show will still take place at Edwards Air Force Base and will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

All other show dates are the same.

These will be the first public air shows at Edwards Air Force Base since 2009.
