BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Family and friends will be saying their goodbyes to Daleon Williams, who was reportedly gunned down in his apartment while he slept.
According to Bakersfield Police, Williams was with his girlfriend and two young children inside their apartment on Q Street. Someone kicked their door down and opened fire, killing Williams and injuring his girlfriend. The children were unharmed.
A funeral for Williams is set for today at Bakersfield Southside Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
The investigation is still ongoing.
